Brandi Dalton

Hi, I'm Brandi - I’m the owner of Altered Ego, which I opened in 2006 after nearly a decade of hands-on experience in the tattoo and piercing world. I began my tattoo apprenticeship in 1998 and completed piercing school in New York in 1999. I grew up right here in the local community, so opening a studio in my hometown was a natural step and a dream come true.

When I’m not working, I’m hanging out with my dogs and making stained glass pieces. I love to create art outside of my tattoos, and I dabble in a bit of everything. I think that experimenting with different types of mediums keeps me feeling inspired and always learning.

I do a lot of realism tattoos, but I really love the variety of styles I get to do.   And anything involving animals and other nature inspiration is always a lot of fun for me.  I’m currently  enjoying creating traditional style tattoos with my clients’ personal inspiration. Most of my projects are larger, so that keeps be booked out a bit, but I’m always happy to fit in the small pieces if you don’t mind the wait!
