Brandi Dalton

Hi, I’m Brandi, owner of Altered Ego. I opened the studio in 2006 after nearly a decade of hands-on experience in the tattoo and piercing industry. I began my tattoo apprenticeship in 1998 and started piercing in 1999 after completing formal piercing training in New York. With more than 25 years of experience, piercing continues to be an important part of my work, and I’m proud to offer professional piercing alongside my tattoo services.

 

I grew up right here in the local community, so opening a studio in my hometown was both a natural next step and a dream come true. Today, I still love creating a welcoming space where people can express themselves through tattoos and piercings.

 

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my dogs and creating stained-glass pieces. I love making art outside of tattooing and dabble in a little bit of everything. Experimenting with different mediums keeps me inspired, curious, and always learning.

 

I do a lot of realism tattoos, but I truly enjoy the variety of styles I get to work with. Tattoos featuring animals, nature, and organic elements are especially fun for me.  If I had to choose a favorite thing to tattoo, it would be pet portraits. I love looking at the photos and hearing the stories that make them special. 

 

Most of my tattoo projects are larger, so I tend to book out a bit. However, I’m always happy to fit in smaller pieces when I can. Whether you’re coming to me for a tattoo or a piercing, I love helping you create something that feels uniquely yours.
